FlowTrem-2 (7-string)
FlowTrem-2 (7-String)
High-performance double-locking tremolo. Unmatched control in the Floyd-Rose class: rock-solid tuning under heavy use, quiet mechanics, and a focused, transparent voice — CNC-machined entirely from Grade-5 titanium.
Who is it for? Touring players, precision setups, and anyone who wants silent hardware, repeatable feel, and maximum stability under aggressive vibrato work.
Features & updates
- New saddles (V-groove): established V-notch profile (as on TV-Rails / JAM / ONE V) for self-leveling string height and.
- Re-engineered saddle bodies: shorter overall length for more rearward intonation range; chamfered undersides; re-profiled clamp openings with bottom feed-in holes; cleaner string breakpoint.
- Baseplate, re-profiled: outer dimensions for maximum swap-compatibility and uniform fit; steeper ramp toward the fine-tuner plane → longer saddle deck and more pull-back room(drop tunings); Chamfered front edge: prevents body contact during extreme dive-bombs for unhindered travel
- No spring plate: eliminates an extra steel part that adds vibration paths and micro-noise, preserving the continuous all-titanium structure.
- Monolith+2 (Grade-5 Ti) block: 30 or 35 mm; fine-tuning via +2 mm shims(up to +4 mm total).
- OmniPort-10/6 arm interface:
accepts FlowBar trem arm and almost all common 6 mm whammy bars (Floyd Rose, Gotoh, Ibanez, Magic Arm...)
- FlowBar trem arm: locking, rattle-free, tension-adjustable; fit O-rings; Snap-Seat click-in; Clip-Lock drag.
- Titanium knife-edges (clean): uncoated for precise, consistent pivot and feel.
- and more...
Sound characteristics
- Focused attack with controlled overtones
- Long, even sustain
- Excellent note separation under gain
Performance & tuning stability
- Snap-Seat + Clip-Lock: precise arm feel, rattle-free operation, repeatable drag
- Titanium knife-edges (clean): consistent pivot feel and reliable return-to-pitch under heavy use
- Monolith+2 Ti block: tighter, more immediate response with long, even sustain
- All-titanium load path: high torsional stiffness and a continuous material structure for efficient energy transfer
- No spring plate: avoids added vibration paths and micro-noise; preserves the continuous titanium structure
Materials & finishes
- Natural — titanium hardware with a satin, technical aesthetic
- Black — PVD on Ti/steel for a refined dark finish
- Gold — TiN (PVD) for a premium, corrosion-resistant look
- Carbon — DLC (Diamond like Carbon) on saddles, baseplate and OmniPort sleeve for extreme wear resistance
Core materials: Grade-5 titanium throughout (baseplate, saddles, block, key hardware); OmniPort sleeve in hardened steel; FlowBar arms in stainless (with click) and Grade-2 titanium (non-click).
Compatibility
- Drop-in for Floyd Rose–type 7-string
- OmniPort-10/6 accepts common 6 mm arms —handy if you need to borrow a bar on short notice or use from an other brand.
Stud options (mounting)
- Two-piece bushings with studs — body bore 10 mm (modern standard since late ’80s)
- One-piece wood studs — screw directly into wood (requires adequately hard body wood)

About the spring plate (why we omit it)
All systems use a thin steel spring plate
to push locking screws up against the fine-tuner undersides. This is only helpful when re-stringing (to hold a saddle from moving) and can be replicated on FlowTrem 2 by simply lowering the fine-tuners fully
during string changes.
Downside:
the extra steel part adds vibration paths and micro-noise
and breaks the titanium-through structure
of FlowTrem 2.
Result:
We omit the spring plate by design. (If you insist, we can offer one as an optional accessory
—not recommended.)
Reproducibility guaranteed
All parts are precision CNC-machined from custom-spec materials for top dimensional accuracy, perfectly planar contact surfaces, and a dense, non-porous structure.
