Conversion Posts 7mm - Insert/Bushing replacement

To install the KMS ONE 2(locking bridge) — or, in general, to convert to a traditional 6-32 stud-and-thumbwheel setup — your guitar must have 6-32 studs. If it does not, KMS Conversion Posts replace the factory two-piece, wobble-prone die-cast inserts (7 mm or 12 mm) with one-piece C36000 soft brass posts(upper 6-32) that behave like vintage thumbwheel studs and tighten coupling for more sustain.

What it does

• Replaces stock 7 mm body inserts with one-piece C36000 soft brass Inserts/Bushings
• Provides 6-32 UNC upper threads to install the KMS ONE 2 bridge and many other classic ABR-1 style bridges
• Delivers tighter mechanical coupling for greater sustain and improved tuning stability.

Installation

• Drop-in concept, no woodwork required
• Supplied metal installation tool and an M5 extraction bolt to pull the old inserts cleanly
